Factor 1: Riding Style & Terrain
Your riding habits are one of the biggest determinants of battery life. Aggressive acceleration, constant high-speed riding, and relying solely on the highest assist levels will drain your battery faster. Conversely, a smooth, consistent pedaling style, utilizing lower assist modes, and shifting gears effectively can significantly increase your range. Uphill climbs require more power, so be mindful of your assist level on inclines. Gentle, flowing terrain will naturally yield better results.
Tip: Engage in 'eco' or lower assist modes whenever possible, and let your legs do some of the work, especially on flat ground. Anticipate stops and starts to avoid hard braking and acceleration.
